Try it Tuesday! Roasted Green Beans

This is a super quick recipe that will get almost anyone to eat green beans!  Add in your favorite herbs or spices to give it your own flair.

Roasted Green Beans


1 lb green beans trimmed

2 tbs olive oil

1-3 cloves minced garlic

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tbs chopped parsley

Lemon wedges

Salt/Pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 425. In a medium bowl add in olive oil and seasoning, except lemon and parsley, and mix well.  Add in trimmed green beans and toss to coat them.  Spread in a single layer on a lined cookie sheet.  Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring once, until tender and lightly browned.  Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with a lemon wedge.

Optional: add grated parmesan or mozzarella cheese the last five minutes of cooking.
