Try it Tuesday! Grilled Peaches

Peach season is here!  Peaches are lovely all on their own but if you’re looking for something quick, easy, and different to do with them try this.

Grilled Peaches

2 Peaches, halved

3 tbs brown sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Oil of choice

Directions:

This recipe is for the grill but can be done on a stovetop or under a broiler.  If using a stovetop, use medium high heat with a non-stick pan. If using the broiler, watch closely to ensure your peaches don’t burn.

Coat the peaches in oil of choice and place cut side down on a medium heat grill.  Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.  Let peaches cook for about 5 minutes until they have grill marks and have started caramelizing.  Flip peaches and sprinkle brown sugar mixture over the cut surface.  Grill covered for another 5 or so minutes until the sugar has melted.

The peaches are delicious just like this but you can also add: plain or vanilla yogurt, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or a dollop of mascarpone cheese before serving.
