From the farmer: “Hello my name is Leigh. I have a small bit of acreage I call home where I raise a small flock of free range chickens. They are free range most of the day when I can watch them to make sure they are safe. Each chicken has a name and is part of the family here at Lilac Acres. I have 35 hens and 2 roosters. They are pets to me and once they stop laying eggs they live out the rest of their lives here at Lilac Acres where they are loved and taken care of. In addition to the chickens this farm is home to one spoiled horse named Ike, 6 cats, and one happy pup named Smiley.”
